The charity's single goal is to help the children who are caught in the crossfire of the conflict in Palestine, which is still ongoing.

A fundraising event and awareness campaign,'10 minutes for the children of Gaza', is going to take place in Dungarvan's Square this coming weekend.

The aim of this movement, which is happening on Saturday, December 21, from 8pm-9pm, is to raise money for the Gaza paediatric care initiative.

This not-for-profit organisation was founded in 2023 and set up by medics in Ireland to support the evacuation of very sick children from Gaza so they can access medical treatment here, if needed.

The charity's single goal is to help the children who are caught in the crossfire of the conflict in Palestine, which is still ongoing.

The organisers' intentions are clear, with their slogan being, "Show the world that we care about the children of Gaza" and they encourage families, and people of all ages, to attend this get-together, all in aid of a good cause.

As stated, the aim of this event is to raise money for children in need, however, if you are unable to donate, you are still more than welcome to be part of the movement.

The group wishes to encourage people to bring a candle with them, in solidarity.

If you are not able to attend but still wish to donate, you can do so here.
