Waterford Sinn Féin TD Conor D. McGuinness has been pictured alongside controversial UK punk-rap duo Bob Vylan.
The pair were invited to visit Leinster House by Sinn Féin TD Eoin Ó Broin ahead of their recent gig in Vicar Street, Dublin.
In a post on X, Deputy Ó Broin said the two men were visiting Dáil Eireann “for a tour and cross party discussion on Palestine, activism and the fight for a better world”.
The duo became a source of controversy in the UK after their performance at Glastonbury earlier this year.
During their set, frontman Bobby Vylan, whose real name is Pascal Robinson-Foster, chanted “death, death to the IDF”. He also referenced working for a “f**king Zionist”.

The performance was broadcast live on the BBC, which apologised for the airing of the content. The broadcaster stated that the content contained “utterly unacceptable anti-semitic sentiments".
The duo had a number of gigs cancelled in the wake of the fallout, with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer condemning the chant as “appalling hate speech”.
The lead singer was also the subject of controversy in the aftermath of the assassination of American conservative activist Charlie Kirk in September.
While performing in Amsterdam, Vylan called the Republican influencer “an absolute piece of sh** of a human being.”
He continued: “The pronouns was/were. Cause if you chat sh**, you will get banged. Rest in p**s Charlie Kirk, you piece of sh**.”
Mr Kirk’s assassination sparked widespread condemnation of political violence in the United States.
The duo’s planned gig in Tilburg three days later was cancelled, with the 013 music venue stating that the comments “went too far”.
Bob Vylan have performed in Ireland on a number of occasions, including at the All Together Now Festival in Co Waterford earlier this year.
Their visit to the Dáil coincided with a pro-Palestine protest outside the gates of Leinster House.
The duo were greeted with a round of applause by protesters as they were leaving and stopped to take photos with supporters on the way.
