Waterford All Time Greats: Profile #3 Mario Rosenstock
One of the country's most recognisable comedians and impressionists, Mario Rosenstock rose to fame through his 'Gift Grub' segments on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM.
His now infamous impressions of the likes of Roy Keane following the 2002 World Cup led him to star in the hugely successful 'I, Keano' musical play in 2005, in which he recounted the goings on of the 2002 World Cup.
In the same year, his spoof version of Will Young's 'Leave Right Now,' which again featured Keane and his fallout with former Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson, became the Christmas number one in Ireland.
Rosenstock has also hosted his own show on RTE 2 television and played an array of sold-out stand-up shows throughout the country.
