Close to €85k has been raised for little girl fighting for her life since being stabbed in November last

The family of the young girl who was critically injured in a stabbing attack in Dublin city centre last November has said she has been released from intensive care once again.

The attack happened outside Coláiste Mhuire school on Parnell Square on November 23, 2023, and saw three children and one adult carer injured as a result.

One of the children, a girl aged five, remains in a critical condition but has since been released from ICU according to her family.

They said that they are “almost over this bump in the road” in their latest update on a verified GoFundMe page, which has now raised nearly €85k.

“Our little angel is a fighter and we are sure she will come out victorious.”

“We wouldn’t be here had it not been for everyone on that day who gave her the fighting chance. We are forever grateful and we are also grateful to everyone who has been dedicating their energy, day in and day out, to her and us.”

A man in his 50's, Riad Bouchaker, has been charged in relation to the multiple stabbings.
