The movie sees Lindsay Lohan play a book editor who attends her best friends wedding in Ireland

Have you seen Irish Wish? If not look away now, there are spoilers.

Irish Wish, which released on Netflix over St Patrick's Day weekend on Friday, March 15 was filmed in a number of Irish locations.

One of the locations was Kilruddery House and Lough Tay in Wicklow as well as Westport Town and the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare.

She attends their wedding in Ireland but just as the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love and finds herself in an alternate reality.

Lindsay plays a book editor Maddie, who puts her feelings aside when the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend.

There has been a lot of social media reaction to the piece, particularly on the social media platform TikTok.

Meath comedian Justine Stafford posted a video to TikTok saying: "Our buses are not from the 40s nor will they drop you directly to your house and then reverse the whole way back down your fu**ing lane. We have Irish accents here not English. We don't fu**ing dress like cabbage patch kids in every colour you would find in a hospital ward. Pubs are not full of Irish people Irish dancing 24/7. I don't think anyone would describe our rain as romantic rain. I don't know who wrote this script but it is not an accurate description of Ireland and ye need to know."

Fans have commented under the video agreeing with Stafford.

One user said: "My favourite part was Wicklow being in Mayo. I missed that move."

Another user said: "Another point!! Knock Airport are unable to loose your luggage!!! There is only one bag pickup."

Another user said: "All I want to know is why St Bridget was dressed like she just got back from a wellness retreat in India."

TikTok creator Ronan Mitchell also reacted to the movie, creating a video saying: "I just watched Irish Wish on Netflix and it is the worst movie of all time. First of all she ends up with an English man and not an Irish man. Second of all nobody in the movie is Irish."

The creator goes on to compare footage of his recent trip to the Cliffs of Moher compared to how it was in the movie and let's just say Ronan appears brezzy in comparison.

"There is a scene of them in the Cliffs of Moher and there was no wind in sight. I was at the Cliffs of Moher not that Irish people go everyday."

You can now stream Irish Wish on Netflix.
