Motorists urged to 'take er handy' due to poor condition of rural road

A VERY honest road sign has been doing the rounds on social media, with many people agreeing with the accuracy.

An Offaly man, Alex Goodman spotted the hilarious road sign between Kinnegad Westmeath and Rhode Offaly.

Alex shared the image with TodayFM and the sign read; “Caution, road is in sh**e! Take er handy.”

The sign has had many agreeing under the broadcasters Instagram page with one person commenting; “Love it so Irish and straight to the point!”
