The former US President shared the list of his favourite music from 2024 on social media
Former US President Barack Obama listed two Irish artists among his 25 favourite songs of 2024.
Obama, who visited Ireland in 2011 to trace his Irish ancestry in Co Offaly, released the list over the weekend, days after namechecking Sally Rooney on his favourite books list.
He listed Hozier's Too Sweet and the aptly named song Favourite by Dublin rock band Fontaines DC among his top tracks of the year.
Also on the list were Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar and Billie Eilish.
It was a big week for Hozier who co-hosted hit sketch series Saturday Night Live in the US alongside Martin Short.
Hozier also performed Fairytale of New York on the show, wowing audiences with his rendition of the Pogues and Kirsty MacColl Christmas classic.
