The search is heating up to find Miss Waterford 2018.

The beauty with a purpose contest crowned Dungarvan’s Kayleigh Hanley Miss Waterford last year, who went on to represent the Déise county at Miss Ireland.

And Miss Waterford 2018 organisers David Kelleher and Amy Barry are encouraging Waterford ladies between the ages of 17 and 27 to follow in Kayleigh’s footsteps and enter for a “life-changing experience”.

Speaking ahead of the Miss Waterford 2018 final, which takes place at Creation Nightclub in Dungarvan on August 11, Pulse Model manager David Kelleher says: “Look at the careers of former Miss Ireland winners like Jess Hayes, Aoife Walsh and of course Rosanna Davison - it’s an amazing opportunity. Of course it’s nerve-wracking, but it’s extremely rewarding.”

Miss Waterford 2018 will advance to the Miss Ireland 2018 final, while the two runners up will compete at the Miss Ireland 2018 semi-final in Dublin on August 21. Email Misswaterfordorg@gmail.com for an application form.
