'A wonderful gentleman' - Tributes pour in for beloved father and grandfather from Waterford
Richard (Dick) Morahan passed away peacefully on Tuesday
Tributes have poured in for the late Richard (Dick) Morahan who passed away peacefully at his home in his 93rd year surrounded by his loving family.
Late of Bayview, Tramore, Co. Waterford and formerly of Dournane, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny, Dick is predeceased by his beloved wife Bridie.
Dick will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughters Noreen, Marian and Jenny; his sons Michael, William and Paul; all his adoring grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his beloved sister Kit O'Keeffe; He will be greatly missed by all his nieces, nephews, relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours and his wide circle of friends.
People who knew Dick have being leaving heartfelt condolences on RIP.ie, with one mourner writing:
"Condolences to the Morahan family on the passing of Dick. I will always fondly remember him and the stories he told me in Murphs. R.I.P."

"Condolences to all the family on the passing of dick. As a frequent visitor to tramore i got to know dick over a point in Murphs bar in Tramore. He was always a mighty crack when we met. I can honestly say he was a lovely man. I'm going to miss his presence in the future. Rest in peace dick and thank you for been my friend."

Funeral Arrangements
Dick will be reposing at Falconer's Funeral Home, Riverstown, Tramore, Co. Waterford on Thursday, February 29, from 5pm to 7pm. All are welcome, Rosary at 5pm sharp.
Dick's Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, March 1, at 10am at The Church of the Holy Cross, Tramore, Co. Waterford, with burial immediately afterwards in St. Patrick's Church Cemetery, Portlaw, Co. Waterford. Those who wish to take part in Dick's Mass remotely, please click here.
Dick's funeral cortege will pass his residence in Bayview at approximately 9:40am and will walk from Tramore Credit Union at approximately 9:50am to arrive for his Requiem Mass at 10am.
