Waterford parish priest celebrates Silver Jubilee after 25 years in priesthood

The Diocese of Waterford and Lismore has paid tribute to the priest
A parish priest in County Waterford has celebrated his Silver Jubilee after 25 years in the priesthood.
Tramore parish priest Fr Richard O’Halloran celebrated the milestone anniversary earlier this week.
A special Jubilee Mass was held in the Holy Cross Church, Tramore on Monday to mark the occasion.
Bishop Alphonsus Cullinan, as well as a large crowd of friends, family and clergy, were in attendance.
The Diocese of Waterford and Lismore congratulated Fr Richard on the achievement in a post on social media.
A diocese spokesperson wrote: “Congratulations to Fr Richard O'Halloran, who celebrated the silver jubilee of his ordination to priesthood on Monday evening in Tramore.”
“Continued blessings be yours, Fr Richard,” they added.
