WATCH: Selfie with Sigala as Daytripper festival weekend rocks Waterford city

Waterford was rocking over the weekend as thousands partied at Daytripper 2018.

There was something for everyone at The Gasworks with Thank Funk, Mack Fleetwood, Heather Smalls and Sister Sledge providing a massive 80s/90s pop party on Friday.

Billy Scurry and Johnny Moy, RTÉ 2FM DJ Jenny Greene, King Kong Company, and Basement Jaxx brought retro rave vibes to Waterford on Saturday.

Waterford’s very own MC Pat Flynn along with Marshal kicked off Sunday, before Daytripper favourites Smash Hits banged out some classics on stage. Then it was the turn of English DJ Sigala, who upped the beat a notch with hits such as ‘Lullaby’ and ‘Came Here for Love’. Sigala’s interaction with the crowd was memorable, posing for a selfie with his Waterford faithful at the end of his set. ‘These Days’ and ‘Waiting All Night’ chart toppers Rudimental brought the fantastic weekend of music, banter and dance to a close.
