CRIME WATCH: Shocking moment a car is robbed in Waterford city caught on CCTV footage

Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for witnesses after a handbag was robbed from a car last week. 

The theft occurred at Ashley Avenue, Cherrymount, Waterford city, on Wednesday (October 17) at approximately 3.30am. 

CCTV footage captured a man removing the handbag - which included personal belongings, cash and bank cards - from the car.
