Waterford city's Lydia Grant says taking part in Miss Waterford 2018 was the "experience of a life time".
Lydia took one of two runners up places and will compete at the Miss Ireland semi-finals stage.
The Ferrybank woman plans to use the platform to support Pieta House and get involved with Waterford Marine Search and Rescue.
