Waterford’s Ballymacarbry National School is one of four primary schools to have qualified for the live Munster final of this year’s competition to find Ireland’s Fittest School 2025.
Supported by Irish fruit importer Fyffes and tracked online, the purpose of the competition, which is now in its fourth year, is to promote the importance of exercise, fitness and healthy eating amongst young people.
The Munster final will take place at the Charleville Sport Complex in late April and will then see the top schools from Connacht, Leinster, Munster and Ulster's provincial finals progress to the grand final in Athlone on May 19.

The three other schools taking part in the Munster final will be Ballyhass National School from Cork, Presentation Primary School in Limerick and Leugh National School located in Tipperary.
