An estimated 22,000 homes and businesses across Ireland have lost power due to the effects of Storm Bram.
Premises affected are mainly in Tipperary, Kildare, Limerick, Cork, and Wexford, according to an article on the RTÉ website.
The ESB has warned that more power outages are expected as the storm continues.
It's also warning people not to approach fallen electricity wires or damaged poles and to report any damages to the ESB.
If your electricity does go out, it is advised that you turn off any electric ovens, cookers, and other similar appliances.

Roughly 70 schools have also been forced to close because of the storm, particularly in the west of Ireland.
A Status Yellow wind warning is currently in place for the entire country and will remain so until 9 o'clock tonight.
There are a few different Status Orange warnings in place, with one affecting Carlow, Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary, and Waterford.
That will be in effect until 4 o'clock this afternoon.
A separate Status Orange Wind warning is in place for Cavan, Monaghan, Clare, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Meath, Offaly, Westmeath, and Connacht and is valid until 7 o'clock this evening.
A third Orange Wind warning is in place for Donegal until 9 o'clock tonight.
