Storm season isn't over yet for Ireland as forecasts show a "nasty looking storm" heading for the country this weekend.
That's according to meteorlogical reports shared by Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather, showing a low weather system that will bring strong gusts and heavy showers by Saturday, April 6.
"Some differences on weather models but all show it hitting Ireland and packing a punch," he said, sharing the news on social media.

Met Éireann have also warned of heavy rainfall, with the national forecaster's farming forecast predicting rainfall amounts to be two to four times the normal range.
This follows provisional data collated by Met Éireann that confirmed this March was one of the wettest ever.
