WEATHER: Mild temperatures and heavy rain expected today
This morning will be cloudy across Munster with rain extending westwards to all areas, heavy at times, especially in the south.
This afternoon, bright spells and scattered heavy showers will follow form the south and east with hail and thunder possible.
Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees with moderate east to northeast breezes.
Early tonight, there will be clear spells and scattered showers. Later in the night, persistent rain will develop in the south and will move up over the province.
Lowest temperatures of 1 to 5 degrees with moderate easterly winds becoming south to southeasterly.
