A brand new Sustainable Transport Bridge is currently underway in Waterford, marking a milestone for Ireland's oldest city!
Waterford County Council has shared an excited new video captioned, "the arrival of the Hebo Lift 9 sheerleg crane and the four Sustainable Transport Bridge spans are a milestone for Waterford’s North Quays Public Infrastructure Project."
"With all four bridge spans now positioned at Frank Cassin Wharf, these impressive spans will be lifted into position over four days by the HEBO Lift 9 floating crane. This powerhouse of a sheerleg has a lifting capacity of 800 tonnes and a lifting height of 67m!".
