WATCH: First responder from Waterford wins national award

The third winner of a National Ambulance Service (NAS) Community Volunteer Award during National Volunteer Week is Siobhan McCormack of Co. Waterford.

Siobhan is founding member of Kilmacthomas Community First Responders, established in 2012.

NAS Community Volunteer Award winner Siobhan McCormack is deeply involved in her local community, devoting her time and expertise, to not only Kilmacthomas CFR but also as an active member with Waterford Civil Defence as an EMT and First Aid Response Instructor.

The contribution she has made to her local community was officially recognised by the National Ambulance Service this week.
