The Courtyard consists of 25 two and three-bedroom homes with a mix of terraced and semi-detached houses.
The development is being worked on by Waterford City and County Council in partnership with R.McDonald & Sons.
The affordable purchase scheme sees homes become available at a reduced price for first-time buyers whose mortgage and deposit will not cover the price of the home and who are seeking to purchase a newly built home.
Through the scheme, the Council will take a percentage equity stake in the home that is equivalent to the difference between the open market value of the property and the reduced price paid by the purchaser.
Reductions of up to €75,000 are available through the scheme.
The homes in The Courtyard have a BER of A2 and come partially furnished.
