Waterford FC have announced the re-signing of experienced defender Eddie Nolan ahead of the 2023 League of Ireland season.
Nolan (34), who joined the Blues in 2021, has played for a number of top English clubs during his career - Blackburn Rovers, Preston North End and Sheffield Wednesday to name a few. Nolan has also represented his country, winning three caps for the Boys in Green in 2009.

Upon re-signing with Danny Searle's side, the Waterford native told the Blues' club website: "I am delighted to have signed a new contract with my hometown club.
"We all want promotion and getting the club back to where it should be and that’s our aim for 2023.
"The gaffer is putting together a really competitive squad; I’m really happy to be part of that and I can’t wait to get the season going."
