One of Waterford's top performers last season, Junior Quitirna, will remain at the club for the 2023 League of Ireland First Division season.
The 22-year-old attacker scored 13 goals in 35 appearances for the Blues last campaign and was named in the 2022 First Division Team of the Year.
The former Charlton Athletic youngster told Waterford's club website: "I’m delighted to be staying with the club. I’ve enjoyed my time here so far and I’m really looking forward to the coming season.
"We have the belief that we can gain promotion and put things right for everyone involved with the club.
"The fans deserve it. They were brilliant last season and I know they’ll be with us again this season."
