Waterford FC are back in the big time of the League of Ireland.
The Blues, managed by Keith Long, will take on some of Ireland's best this season, including four-in-row Premier Division champions Shamrock Rovers.
It all begins this Friday when Waterford welcome Damien Duff's Shelbourne side to the RSC. The atmosphere is set to be electric with both stands sold out for the fixture.
Ahead of the Premier Division opener, it was announced that Fleetwood Town loanee Barry Baggley will be the club captain for the 2024 campaign.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm this Friday, February 16.
