Waterford FC prospect Romeo Akachukwu played a key role in the Republic of Ireland's 2-2 draw against Italy in the UEFA European U-17 Championship Elite Round qualifying in Cyprus on Tuesday.
The 16-year-old gave Colin O'Brien's side the lead before an own goal extended Ireland's advantage.
The Italians fought back in the second half and found the net twice to secure a draw.
Fellow Blues youngster Jason Healy also represented the Boys in Green in the qualifier - playing in goal.
Well done to Jason Healy and Romeo Akachukwu who both represented the Ireland Under-17s in the Euro Elite Stage qualifier against Italy today. Romeo nodded home to open the scoring in a 2-2 draw with Italy, with Jason starting between the sticks. pic.twitter.com/uJBUaaeE0b
