The Kazbar in Waterford city has gone up for sale, a real estate agent has confirmed.
The famous late-night bar, located in the Apple Market, has been put on the market alongside the next-door Davy Mac’s pub.
Selling agents Sherry Fitzgerald John Rohan confirmed the news in an interview with local radio station WLR.
John Rohan told WLR that the Kazbar and Davy Macs have been owned by the Dunphy family since 2004.
He added: “There is sadness for the family, but they are pursuing other interests, and turnover is excellent.”

A price of €2.5 million has been set for the two properties, which are being sold as a going concern. This means that the properties are being sold along with the operating businesses as one package.
The Dunphy family believe that new owners could bring a new lease of life to the business.
Mr Rohan said: “We feel that it will be taken on as is, with the return to food an option for a new owner going forward.”
He also confirmed to WLR that there are no plans to turn the building into apartments or any other form of residential property.
