Abbeygate Properties Ltd have lodged a planning application for the development of 98 new residential units and créche facility in Abbeygate, Ferrybank.
The proposed development (namely Phase 3 of an overall masterplan) consists of 44 new housing units featuring 30 three-bed, two storey semi-detached houses and 14 four-bed two-storey semi-detached houses.
The plans have been lodged with Kilkenny County Council.

The development would also include three apartment blocks compromising of 54 units.
Car parking and bicycle parking are also set to feature as part of the works.
