Waterford Presentation Secondary hosted its Annual Christmas party and it was a huge success with a lot of dancing and smiles from all of the staff, students and service users.
The school also recently worked with the Brothers of Charity in Waterford to plant a long-neglected border at the gym area of the school with perennials and grasses.
A school spokesperson said: "Our TY gardening class worked alongside the staff and service users of the BoC to plant up the border. The knowledge of trained horticulturists amongst the BoC staff was shared with our students who worked to get the plants in before Storm Babet landed.
"We are lucky to have planted a range of plants from all over the world just like our school community. The horticulture arm of the charity carries out amazing maintenance work on site every week and have worked with the students and staff to plant an apple orchard and curate areas of wildflowers for biodiversity in the last few years."
