University Hospital Waterford A&E is one of the most overcrowded in the country today
The latest trolley watch figures released by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation today have revealed that 23 people are now awaiting a proper bed at the A&E department in University Hospital Waterford.
There are currently 23 patients on trolleys at the Waterford A&E department. Elsewhere in the region, 45 patients are awaiting a proper bed at University Hospital Limerick, while 42 are in similar situation at Cork University Hospital
University Hospital Limerick is the most overcrowded in the country today with 36 people awaiting a proper bed at their A&E department.
Nationally today, July 3, 320 patients are waiting for a proper bed.
