Major concern as 13-year-old boy disappears from home - Garda statement issued

Gardaí are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of Rory Farrell (13) who was reported missing from Ashbourne, Co Meath, on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Rory is described as being 4 foot 10 inches in height, of slim build with black hair and blue eyes.

He is known to frequent the Dublin City and Ballymun areas.

Gardaí have said they are concerned for Rory’s well-being.

"Anyone with information on Rory’s whereabouts is asked to contact Ashbourne Garda Station on 01 801 0600, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station," a statement concluded.
