Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a road traffic collision on the Priorswood Road in Dublin 17 on Wednesday, January 14, 2026.
The collision involving a car and a pedestrian occurred at the Darndale Roundabout at approximately 5pm.

The pedestrian, a female juvenile, was brought to Children’s Health Ireland at Temple Street where she remains in a serious but stable condition.
No other injuries were reported.
A technical examination was conducted by the Divisional Scenes of Crime Unit.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.

Any road users, who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area between 4:30pm and 5:15pm are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
