Passengers devastated as popular Dublin Airport spot closes but it's not all bad news
Weary passengers making their way through Dublin Airport's Terminal 2 were left disappointed earlier this week as the popular Butlers Chocolates coffee spot closed.
Those hoping for a caffeine hit before flying need now fear as the closure is only temporary as revamp works take place on the outlet.
Dublin Airport has also confirmed a temporary replacement will also open this week.
In a post, Dublin Airport shared an image of the shuttered outlet, saying: "Time for a revamp. Butlers cafe in T2 has closed to allow for a full refurb.
"Fear not coffee lovers - a temporary Butlers Chocolates kiosk will open later this week to ensure you can still get your pre-flight fix.

"The bigger and better Butlers will then re-open in early 2025," they promised.
Passengers were quick to jump in the comments. One said a "bigger Butlers is needed, poor baristas having to work with only one coffee machine and such a small space in such a busy setting. It's a very hard and stressful job."
Another said they were already loving the revamped Butlers in Terminal 1 and were "looking forward to similar" in T2 in the New Year.
