Four vehicles were seized by the Gardaí at a car cruise in Dublin this week, with several drivers facing court.
The four vehicles were some of many at a car cruise, a slow drive usually around a car park treated as a social event for car enthusiasts to show off their vehicles.
The vehicles were checked by the Blanchardstown Roads Policing unit. Gardaí from the unit have said they were "keeping an eye out for anti-social activity" in car cruises in the area. The four vehicles were seized for having no insurance or tax.
One driver has had 10 vehicles seized since 2009 for various offences.
Gardaí said in a tweet that several drivers were fined at the event, and some will face court.
