Marte Adibet Ayot was last seen on Wednesday, June 12
GARDAI are seeking the public's assistance in tracing the whereabouts of a 41-year-old woman who has not been seen in more than 24 hours.
Marte Adibet Ayot has been missing from her home at Janesboro in Limerick city since Tuesday. She was last seen on Wednesday evening at approximately 6pm at Upper Gerald Griffin Street, in Limerick city centre.
In an appeal, issued this Thursday evening, a garda spokesperson said: "Marte Adibet is described as 5’ 8” in height of broad build with black hair and dark brown eyes."
They added that it is unknown what Marte Adibet was wearing when she was last seen.
As her family and friends are concerned for her welfare, they have asked An Garda Síochána for assistance in locating her.
Anyone with information on Marte Adibet’s whereabouts is asked to contact Henry Street garda station in Limerick on (061) 212400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any garda station.
