Waterford motorists are being advised of possible disruption this week as roadworks commence on the N25 in Kilkenny, not far from the Waterford border this week.

As part of the ongoing roadworks on the N25, traffic management for resurfacing works will be in place on the N25 at Glenmore from Tuesday, February 5.

To facilitate the works, Kilkenny County Council is warning that a contraflow traffic management system will be in place from 7am on Tuesday, February 5, to 7pm on Tuesday, February 19.

Stop & go will also be required to complete pavement tie-ins at the new roundabout and minor delays should be expected.

The Ballyverneen west tie-in between the L7513 and N25 will be closed as part of the works and local traffic will be diverted via the New L7513 Ballyverneen road realignment.

Motorists are advised that a cautionary speed limit of 65km/h will be in place for the duration of the works.

"We ask that motorists take caution when entering the roadworks and we would like to thank motorists for their patience during this time," KCC said.
