Motorists are being advised that a busy regional road in South County Waterford will be closed this Saturday to facilitate tree felling.
In a public notice, Waterford City and County Council, says the R674 will be closed to traffic, from its junction with the N25 at Ring Cross to Leigh Cross, for most of the day.
The closure will take effect from 9am on Saturday and will remain in place until 4pm.

The local authority says diversions will be in place throughout the closure and it is apologising for the inconvenience caused.
