The delighted Waterford man collected the keys to his gleaming Fire Red BMW iX2 eDrive20 M Sport, complete with high-gloss shadowline trim, heated sport seats and 19-inch alloy wheels. The luxury prize is worth tens of thousands of euro.

The annual Win a BMW draw is one of the NBCRI's biggest fundraising initiatives, with all proceeds supporting vital breast cancer research at the Lambe Institute, University of Galway.

A spokesperson for the charity said they were "very grateful to all who supported the raffle over the past year", helping to fund research that aims to improve outcomes for women in Ireland and around the world.
