Waterford families encouraged to take part in Tramore toy swap this weekend
A free toy swapping event will take place in Tramore, Co. Waterford this weekend in an effort to promote sustainability across the county.
Families are being encouraged to take part in the event which will be taking place in the Tramore GAA Hall on Saturday, October 18th.
It will run from 2pm to 5pm and is being organised by the Tramore Tidy Towns.

The concept involves bringing an unwanted toy to the event and exchanging it for a different one.
There is no cost to take part and children will leave with a "new" toy to play with while giving toys a second life.
All toys should be clean and working.
Families can bring however many toys they like and even if you bring nothing, you are still welcome to have a look.
The Tidy Towns Committee are hoping this will contribute to their efforts to promote sustainability and reduce waste in Waterford.
The toy swap is being organised in partnership with Waterford City and County Council.
It's hoped the event will benefit local families while encouraging greater awareness around sustainability.
