Award-winning farmer John Byrne opened the event by sharing his journey since taking over the farm in 2001, highlighting the value of step-by-step progress and the importance of creating opportunities for young people in agriculture, including those who may not come from farming backgrounds.

The day featured four engaging stands, Alex Sheehan, Tirlán Milk Solids Growth Specialist, shared practical ways to improve herd performance and profitability through the Milk Solids Growth Programme. IFAC provided insights on tax planning, cashflow management, and financial decision-making.
