Search for Waterford man (60) missing for over a week stood down as gardaí issue update

A 60-year-old Waterford man who had been the subject of a missing person appeal has been found "safe and well", gardaí have confirmed.

David O'Regan - described as approximately 5 foot 10 inches in height, has a large build, with black/grey hair and brown eyes - was reported missing from his home in Waterford city on Monday, June 30.

He had been last seen in Waterford City on Saturday, June 28.

"An Garda Síochána would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance," a garda spokesperson said.
