An urgent TV appeal has been made by An Garda Síochána in Dungarvan on Crimecall, a monthly television show aimed at locating criminals, following a clear theft which took place in a local shop.
The store in question sells technology products and in CCTV, broadcast on the television programme, the suspect can be seen browsing throughout the premises.
He then moves over to a display of headphones where you can see him using a paper leaflet to hide his hand as he lifts a box off the display.

In the footage, the suspect can then be seen wrapping the leaflet around the box and putting it in his bag. Going on to briefly ask a staff member a question, he then swiftly left the store.
Gardaí believe the male is aged in his 30s and is around 5'10 in height. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black cross-bodied bag and dark coloured trousers.
If you recognise this man, or have any information regarding this incident, you can contact your local garda station or Crimecall on 1800 40 50 60.
