20 Waterford Tidy Towns groups to share €27,000 funding boost

€27,000 in funding has been allocated to Tidy Towns Groups across Waterford by the Department for Rural and Community Development.

The 20 Tidy Town groups announced today who are receiving funding in Waterford are:

Fine Gael Waterford Senator John Cummins welcomed the news: “We all know the fantastic work Tidy Towns groups put in throughout the year, they have the will and desire to make sure their communities look their best. In rain or sunshine they roll up their sleeves and get stick in and I’m delighted that we are able to support them in their efforts”.

“I am firmly committed to ensuring that every community in Waterford is enabled to thrive and flourish and small funding streams like these go a very long way. The people involved in local groups like these have demonstrated their commitment to making our communities the best possible place to live, work and raise a family in.
