Families and visitors alike can rest assured that a fantastic Halloween awaits at Mount Congreve Gardens from October 26 to 31 this year.

Families will love the Spooky Trail, where little ones can follow an activity sheet and take to the trails to discover the Spooky skeletons and ghastly ghouls who have invaded the gardens. Once they have completed the trail, they can choose a small pumpkin to take home.

In addition, young visitors to the gardens can enjoy the beautiful woodland playground on-site. They can swing and jump and slide amid the woodland space on Monty’s Lawn under a canopy of ancient trees offering a natural haven for pure fun on the basket swings, hammock swings, climbing tower with its adventure tunnel slide, balance walk, seesaw and more.

Mount Congreve is known as a ‘great garden of the world’ and the title is certainly fitting to an incredible 70 acres of woodland gardens including 4 acres of walled gardens within a 140-acre estate located 10 minutes outside of Ireland’s oldest City of Waterford.

Families will also enjoy the Mount Congreve Stables Café, which offers a full menu from breakfast to lunch and hearty snacks and treats.

The Spooky Halloween Trail at Mount Congreve Gardens is recommended for children aged 4 to 10 and is on offer from October 26 to October 31 from 10 am to 3 pm daily.

Tickets are available at www.mountcongreve.com. Pre-booking is essential.
