ALERT: Parents warned of repair and replacement works at Waterford playgrounds

Members of the public in the Comeragh electoral district are being advised that works to repair and upgrade local playgrounds will continue next week.

Brown Brothers Ltd, on behalf of Waterford City & County Council, is completing repairs and replacements over the next three weeks. The schedule is as follows:

Works at Bunmahon and Portlaw starting last week while works at Portlaw and Kilmacthomas and Modeligo will commence next week.

In a public notice, the local authority says minor repairs will also be carried out at the playgrounds in Stradbally and Rathgormack.

Playgrounds will remain open for children to use where possible, but temporary closures of a day or two may be necessary.

Waterford City & County Council is thanking members of the public for their understanding and cooperation.
