Autism family friendly area to be set up at Waterford St Patrick's Day parade

 

 

An autism family friendly area will be set up at the Waterford St Patrick's Day Parade. 

That's according to Waterford City and County Council, which today (March 1) confirmed the news in collaboration with Autism Friendly Waterford and 50 Shades of Exceptional. 

The initiative is reportedly part of the council's vision to make Waterford Ireland's first autism-friendly city. 

This year's festival will run for four days from March 15 to March 18 in Waterford City, with the parade taking place on Sunday March 17.
