A Waterford artist whose crayon drawing was used as single artwork by US rapper Lil Nas X has thanked the star for his support.
Aaron Fahy's drawing, which he made in his bedroom, features as the cover art for the rapper's new single 'Where Do We Go Now'.
In a post published on Instagram last week, Fahy said, "The last 24 hours have been wild! Thank you so much for all of the nice messages and comments, it’s been so overwhelming and heartwarming. I honestly cannot thank you enough.
"It still feels really surreal now that it’s out, I made it in my bedroom in Ireland and it’s being seen all over the world which is mindblowing!

"I promise I’ll stop yapping about it after today but I’m just so hyped right now.
"Thank you to the GOAT for putting me in touch with the team and also huge huge love to Lil Nas X for always sharing my stuff and showing love.
"2024 is off to a crazy start and we’re only getting started."

In an interview with RTÉ News on January 29, Fahy stated: "It's still a very surreal kind of feeling that a lot of people have seen this artwork, for someone like Lil Nas to recognise it, I find it very hard to process.
"I did it all on an A4 page so I'll definitely be framing it.
"I thought maybe it was going to be used in the background of a video or something, but it turned out to be single art work which was mind blowing, it still really hasn't set in."
