Waterford to feature on TG4 this New Year

TG4 will ring in the new year from Waterford with the best of music and fun from the Déise hosted by Dáithí Ó Sé and Doireann Ní Ghlacáin in Lawlors Hotel.

Andrias de Staic in Tigh Mháire Luke in Túr Mhic Éadaigh, Co. Mayo and Sláine Ní Chathalláin from Tig an tSaorsaigh in Baile an Fheirtéaraigh in West Kerry.

In Waterford with Dáithí & Doireann will feature Danú, Martin Hayes and David Power. Cárthach, Méin & Siúbhan Mac Craith, Taobh na Mara Céilí Band with Rachel Lynch and Cór Fear na nDéise.

Musicians joining the celebrations in Kerry alongside Sláine include Cuas- Méabh Ní Bheaglaoich, Nicole Ní Dhubhchlaine, Niamh Varian Barry, Kyle McCuley. Karan Casey with Niamh Dunne & Seán Óg Graham.  Andrew Palandri and Eoin Ó Beaglaoich.  Páidí Mhártan Mac Gearailt, Áine Cheaist Uí Laoithe.

In Mayo with Andrias we hear from Seán Keane who will be joined by Pat Coyne & Fergus Feely. Also performing will be Ríona Ní Chonbhuí, Molly Ní Ghrádaigh & Molly Ní Chadhain with Frankie Mac Aodha & Marcus Ó Philbín. 

Enda Scahill will be joined by Dave Munnelly & Mick Connelly. This year’s Corn Uí Riada winner Colm Jimmy Ó Curraoin will also be there.
