The Munster Senior A Champions are seeking help from the community to fund their trip to Northern Ireland for the All-Ireland Semi Final.
Ballymacarbry Ladies Football Club will contest the semi final on the first weekend of December and have launched a Go Fund Me fundraising campaign to help cover the costs of the trip.
On their Go Fund Me page, the club committee stated: "We have been drawn against the winners of Ulster and the game will take place in Northern Ireland. As I’m sure you can appreciate, this trip will incur a significant cost as travel, food and accommodation will need to be provided.
"These girls have trained tirelessly all year, showing nothing but dedication to their club. They are a credit to their families and proud role models for the younger girls.
"The club would be very grateful if you would consider donating to this fundraiser so that we can provide the very best experience for the players as they continue with their 2023 campaign. No amount is too small and every donation is very much appreciated by the panel and management team."
The fundraiser has raised over €7,000 so far thanks to over 150 donations.
