A planning application to build 90 houses and apartments in Waterford has been received by the county council.
The application - submitted this week by Sanpol Developments Ltd with a decision due in February 2023 - seeks permission to construct the homes in Ballinakill, Co Waterford.
The homes include 45 detached and semi-detached dwellings ranging in area from 110m2 to 326m2, as well as 45 self-contained one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments ranging from 58m2 to 136m2.
If granted, the planning application will include the installation of all necessary services including foul drainage disposal of connection to existing public foul drainage network, the installation of attenuation to the storm drainage outfall to the river, connection from existing public water main and also all associated site development works.
This also includes an entrance through Ballinakill Park (36 houses and 45 apartments) and entrance through Island Lane (19 houses).
