Gardaí are investigating a number of burglaries in Waterford and have appealed to the public to provide assistance.
Gardaí in Waterford are appealing for information following a burglary at a house in Alder Grove on Thursday. The house was ransacked, but nothing was taken. The incident occurred between 5.30pm and 6.45pm.
Anyone who noticed any suspicious persons in the area or anyone who has dash cam footage is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station.
In a separate incident, a number of items were taken following a burglary at a house in Mount William on Thursday. The house was broken into between 5.30pm and 7pm.
A gold ring with emeralds, a silver necklace, a 52” Sharp television and crystal wine glasses were taken. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed any suspicious activity in the area or anyone who might be offered any of these items for sale to contact Gardaí in Waterford.
Meanwhile, gardaí are investigating after entry was gained to a building site in Arbourmount over the weekend. The site was accessed between 5pm on Friday and 8am on Monday morning.
However, nothing was taken during the incident. Gardaí are appealing to anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area to contact Gardaí in Ferrybank.
