DO NOT SWIM! Waterford Council issues bacteria in water warning

Warning issued not to swim at Waterford cove due to bacteria

Waterford City and County Council is advising bathers not to swim at Stradbally Cove

Waterford City and County Council is advising bathers not to swim at Stradbally Cove temporarily.

This is due to a recent increase in the levels of bacteria in the river.

The council will continue monitoring the situation and will give updated advice in due course.
